What are you currently reading?
Right now I'm reading The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan!
What’s one book that you will always recommend?
Oh gosh that's a hard one. My go to recommendations right now are anything by Cassandra Clare or Meg Cabot. I can't pick just one.
Who is a character you’d like to be friends with?
After a lot of though, I think I have to go with Ginny Weasley. That way we can fangirl together about our love for Harry (and sing about it if we're talking AVPM Ginny). Plus, she's a super badass in the books. Movie Ginny doesn't count.
What’s a book you wish was more popular/appreciated?
I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak. I absolutely love The Book Thief by him, but Messenger is just so heartwarming and I don't like that it gets overlooked sometimes. I definitely recommend it, if you like his other stuff.
What’s a book you liked when you were a kid?
I was obsessed with the Magic Tree House series, mostly because I'm a history nerd, but the adventures were so fun. I also loved anything Babysitters Club.
If you could teach a literature class what would the focus be/why?
Personally, I would do a big focus on creative writing and maybe look at books that would be considered great literature of our generation (stuff like Perks and Fault in Our Stars).
Do you share your books?
YES! Ever since high school, my friends and I have traded books like we were walking libraries.
What book would you like turned into a tv show/movie?
I still want to see the Luxe series turned into a tv show of sorts. It probably won't happen, but I think that'd be cool.
What’s a book you think is overrated?
Is it too cliche if I say Twilight? I know it's not really a thing anymore, but the writing is atrocious. Also, I'm adding 50 Shades of Gray to that because as a former bookseller, and wanna be writer, it's physically offensive.
What do you wish you saw more of on book blogs?
I can't really think of any, since as long as I see books, I'm happy! :)
My questions:
1. What's your favorite genre?
2. If you could marry any fiction character, who would it be?
3. Is there any particular book cult that you're apart of? (i.e. Hunger Games, etc)
4. Who's your favorite author? and what's your favorite book by him/her?
5. Growing up, what was your favorite book?
6. How do you feel about love triangles in any book?
7. What's the best part of a story?
8. What's the best character trait for a main character to have?
9. Have you ever gotten an author's signature in any of your books?
10. What would you like to see more on book blogs?
