Unfortunately, work has been gut wrenchingly stressful the past few weeks, and it has finally caught up to me - no amount of games, relaxing, or Blue Hawaiian Monster in the world could fix that or stop me from the steady decline into a grippy sock vacation, so no WIP Weekend for me this week while I let myself have a nice, quiet recovery day or two!

Ooo, the Omegaverse one has been so fun to work on. Here's four sentences for you.
Steve has no real plan for his new life as an unmated omega. He doesn’t know if he’s going to start looking for work right away, or if he’s going back to school to find a new career path for himself, or if he’s going to take his sweet time and enjoy his new found freedom for a while before making any decisions. His possibilities are endless, and it’s such a far cry from what his life has been until recently that it leaves Steve a little lightheaded.

Snippet from steddiebee2025, which will begin posting on the 26th.
They mingled easily enough, Steve taking care of most of the talking while Robin observed, keeping her tongue tied to try and make the best impression, even when she knew it was likely futile with her having a bit of a reputation herself. Her observation led to her seeing them first, giving her the gift of Steve’s reaction when he laid eyes on the man that had the ton in a tizzy.
Edward Munson, nephew to Lord Wayne Munson, horticulturalist and loving husband of one Christine Munson, formerly known as Miss Cunnigham, who came from a respected and wealthy American family. It was a lovematch, so said everyone, even though there was some talk of how the Munson’s had needed the money that had come with her dowry.
Robin saw it when it happened and he was not able to hide his surprise, his particular interest, though, that was for her to know and others to remain ignorant over.
“The Munsons,” the matronly woman they had been talking with, well Steve had been, said. “They make for a pretty picture, do they not?”

🛼 Somehow I’ll be Strong - The rare pre-Steddissy where Steve and Chrissy get together first. One-shot, almost done. Just need to transition it into Steddissy. Likely will be 1-1.2k.
💼 Untitled Steve Harrington has Good Parents - where Steve's parents are socially liberal academics who don't know how to prioritize parenting. Half-done? Likely will be 1.5k?
⭕️ The Circle - Steve catfishes as Robin on Netflix's The Circle - it's gonna be unfortunate when that cutie Chrissy realizes he's not actually a lesbian. (Spoiler, Eddie is catfishing as Chrissy). 1.4k written, but will likely be 10-15k.
🌙 Binary - Star Wars/MCU that hasn’t been touched since 2016. Started writing this when Agents of SHIELD and Inhumans were big and seemed like the future of the MCU. I think I was going to go the route of Anakin and Obi Wan having linked powers that were pretty much the Force. I do not remember where the plot was supposed to go but eventual Obikin. 1k written out or a probable 2k total?

At thirty-three, Steve found himself divorced and unmated once again, with barely enough money to cover his basic needs and no idea of what he would do with his life now. He should've felt lost, and sad, but he didn't. He had wasted nine years of his life stuck in a relationship he had never even wanted to begin with.
The day Steve packed his things and left his now ex-husband's place was the best fucking day of his life.

When Steve races back into the Byers' house, Billy has Lucas pinned up against the wall and the kids are shouting. Hargrove doesn't show any sign of having seen him come in.
Lucas knees Billy in the crotch.
Billy releases him, stumbling backward and grimacing from the pain. "You are so dead Sinclair! You're dead!"
"No! You are!" Steve swings at Billy, hitting him square in the jaw. It hurts like hell, but he's not going to let anybody lay a hand on his kids.
Billy laughs manically. "Looks like you have some fight in you after all! I've been waiting to meet this King Steve everybody's been telling me so much about." There's a dangerous glint in his eyes.
Steve runs a hand through his hair. In the grand scheme of everything that had happened tonight, Billy was a spec of dust. Not really worth the effort. Maybe he could make him go away rather than trading blows. He's not about to give the son of a bitch what he wants.
"Get out." Steve pushes Billy in the chest. Wrong move.
