I'd been wondering what I would do for recording a comic timelapse but thankfully these two panels were similar enough that it worked out well! I tried more of zooming into certain areas to make it easier to see the timelapse and adding a picture-in-picture (manually - I think I know of a plugin to make it easier in the future) so you can still see the full piece while it's zoomed in.

This was a really cool request to work on, I loved making the rip space effects. When I went to refine the hair I didn't want to bounce between the line art layer so I actually just rendered the hair and then added in the line art afterwards. Other than jumping to the special effects early, everything else was worked on going from line art to flats to shading to highlights.

Do I need yet another platform - ok well maybe.

With all the YouTube crap going on, I finally got around to setting up my PeerTube account on MakerTube. (MakerTube is basically like a YouTube "secrion" intended for creatives and is decently well known.)

I've only uploaded one recent timelapse video there so far to test it, but so far so good! You can see how it looks below. No account required to watch it.

I plan upload newer timelapses to MakerTube and eventually all my older ones too. I'm not certain if I want to keep uploading to YouTube as well, partially cause traffic seems to come from not subscribers and without comments it's hard to tell how much I'd lose if I stopped using it.

If anyone has any thoughts about this please let me know how you like/would prefer to see my timelapses!

At the very least, if YT is blocking one of my timelapses from you, know that eventually you'll be able to find them on MakerTube. If you need help/have questions with PeerTube/MakerTube stuff, let me know and I'll try to help!
