Hope you're having a good weekend. When I have time off from work I like to do what I call Makeup Admin which is basically when I tidy up my makeup table from the mess of the week and most importantly clean my brushes.

I know how annoying and long winded it is to clean your brushes so I decided to share my secret with you which makes cleaning brushes take seconds not hours! Everyone let me introduce you to the Makeup Revolution Brush Cleansing Spray , £6.00. Now I don't know about all of you but personally if I'm tired cleansing my brushes is the last thing I want to do but luckily this spray speeds up the process.

So I haven’t cleared my make up out for some time now, after reading about horror stories of people catching eye infections and all kinds of discussing bacteria that can live on your make up I decided that there was no time like the present! I started by emptying everything and making a right mess (that’s how I usually approach this kind of stuff) then cleaned and checked everything individually, making two piles- one to keep and one to bin. The sorting process was so therapeutic and I also found loads of things I forgot I had! Bonus! If it’s a job you need to do I urge you to take the bull by the horns (or so they say) and do it! It will also clear space for new stuff so size the day! xx
