Although the day started off rough with me getting my makeup kit stolen and stepping on a rusty nail right before catching the bus to New York it was all worth it. I was blessed with the opportunity to assist THE @raisaflowers my freaking role model for the @shvny fashion presentation this week. Words cannot express how amazing this experience was. I was speechless at the end result. Being surrounded by powerful, successful, hardworking and passionate black women truly filled my heart. The energy was overwhelming in a good way.
