Life Goals as a 5 y/o

I just wanted to be happy. I didn’t like how there was so much chaos and anger around me. A lot of the promises i made to myself as a kid i made because i had my happiness in mind. i promised i would never smoke cigarettes because my parents smoked them to be happy, but nothing ever changed. i promised myself i would never drink heavily because my parents drank to forget and to not worry, but they were sad. I promised myself if i ever make someone a promise i would keep that promise because i knew how much it hurt to have your hopes crushed by someone you care about.
