If you ask me why I love autumn photography, it's the transition of the seasons that heightens your senses: the sensation of that crisp, fresh air on your skin; the smell of hot apple pies fresh from the market oven; the rustling and cracking of the carpet of leaves on the ground; and of course, the pop of all those colours all over the landscape that makes for some spectacular eye candy. Those who know me, know that I just love the colour orange. It's vibrant, playful, and definitely does a great job of standing out from the greens. From the lighter shade with a hint of yellow to the darker shade with a hint of red, it's this that inspires me to search for that perfect autumn scenery. The colour orange is a must, as it's indicative of the season, and makes a monotonous scene pop. I always look for that element of "pop" in any scenery regardless of the season, as it opens up new perspectives and brings in fresh ideas to enhance the interest of my photos. Autumn just makes this a little easier as Mother Nature draws me in to what's interesting through these colours. (What's that green patch of trees in the middle you ask? Why, it's preparation for "the most wonderful time of the year"—a Christmas tree farm!) #MakeYourWorldBigger @Moment (at Rattlesnake Point)
