How are you doing? All things considered, I’m doing well. I’ve been painting more now that my time opened up with the quarantine. However I’ve felt either uninspired or totally inspired...while jumping to new projects before I’ve finished the last one. I’m learning to be kind with myself. Like when I read a book for several hours today instead of working on art and writing. So I then worked later than normal and it actually worked for the best. Here’s my current WIP paintings. Guess what show inspired my nails? I hadn’t done my nails in forever and with all the craziness going on, this weekend I decided to paint them to help me chill and cheer up. Now that they are done I smile every time I see them. If you haven’t guessed the show...they are a reference to 5 of the characters in Star Wars Rebels 😁 I love their mashed together family that will do anything for each other. (Sorry Chopper, you didn’t make the cut - no orange nail polish) From my thumb to pinkie they are - Kanan, Zeb, Ezra, Sabine, and Hera. I chose colors close to the character’s skin/hair/clothing from the colors I had. It was fun!
