Hearing things like this... it scares her. Cloud has started acting weird lately. She knows she has never entirely understand him, but now, it's even more confusing than before. She feels like he's somehow colder, and maybe even angrier, too. Aerith wishes there's something she can do to help him; she worries so much. Maybe she doesn't entirely know the real Cloud, but she knows he has a good heart. She never once doubts it, and she doesn't want him to do things he might regret.

"I don't want you to kill for me." Her voice is soft, and she's even offering him a sad smile. She appreciates his concerns. For the first time since Zack disappeared, Aerith feels like she belongs in a group of friends, and it means so much to her. But right now, she's scared of what Cloud cloud do.

She brings her hands together and presses them against her heart. "Let's... Let's protect each other, okay ? And hurt only if it's necessary." Aerith just hopes she can truly reach him right now. "I care for you and I appreciate your concerns, but please be careful."

“No!” The response was immediate and sharp. There wasn’t a moment taken to think, or to consider what he said, she wasn’t leaving him. She wasn’t ever going to leave anyone. It wasn’t the kind of thing that she did. Hell, it made her skin hurt the thought of it, as if something sharp was crawling underneath it. “I’m not doing it!” Oh, she sounded like a petulant child but she meant it, and if he wanted to argue about it they could, Yuffie would happily smack this notion right out of his brain.

“I’m not doing it. You don’t leave people behind!” Emotion caught in the back of her throat, a lump she couldn’t seem to swallow, this bubble of something that threatened to take over the entire situation. She didn’t have the control to take ahold of it, and while it might have been the most inappropriate moment for this to happen Yuffie didn't have control anymore. “That’s not happening again!” This time it was a full on yell. She was ready to tear him limb from limb for even making such a stupid suggestion. 

“You have people who care about you, jackass!” One hand flew out, a weak attempt at a shove as tears threatened to spill over and down her cheeks. “Do you have any idea how much it would hurt people if something happened to you?” How much it would hurt her. Yuffie had lived through that kind of agony once already, she could suppress one. Pretend that it hadn’t happened. Try to ignore the searing pain that sat in her chest at moments.

No, she knew she couldn’t deal with that. 

She couldn’t add another name to the ledger of people who had died trying to protect her. “Are you stupid!” A shaking breath, Yuffie became very aware that it felt like she couldn’t breath, this spiralling feeling ran through her that she knew wasn’t conducive to getting out of this situation, all Yuffie could do was scramble to cling to whatever threads of sanity was left with her in this moment. She had already decided if this was how they were going down it going to be them going down together.

Rude wanted answers, but he noticed the other own expression.  It almost loosened him up.  Checking him over, and then around, his eyes turn back to him.

his eyes STARED at the other for a moment. seeing how he jerked and moved. He really hasn't ever seen anyone get out of the leather bands before. Then again it's also reinforced with much stronger material after all. He has learned a great deal from others. Yet, as he walked around the table, he was humming to himself. What was he doing to do now that he had him locked up here?
