I wasn't gonna talk about it on here but I need to get it out. I'll put all the traumatic stuff under the cut. Wednesday night my husky died. He would have been 4 this year.

His name was Odie and he was a derp. But he was my derp.

He didn't die peacefully. He choked, to death, in my arms, as I was trying to save him. He was always getting into stuff. We had to baby proof the house. Baby locks on garbage cans, cabinets... boy he was smart (or stupid but he was my stupid) and somehow he still managed to get hold of something. I checked his mouth, swept my fingers in there, whatever it was it was too far down for me to reach. So I did the only thing I could, I tried to heimlich him. I called a 24hr emergency vet, put them on speaker and kept trying to heimlich him as it rang. I didn't knlw if I was doing it right, he's a dog not a person, I was doing it right if he was a person but I needed to figure out if it was the same for a dog. THE LADY PUT ME ON HOLD BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T KNOW! I WAS ON HOLD 3 MINUTES WHILE MY DOG WAS DYING IN MY ARMS! The emergency vet was 30 minutes away I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO DRIVE IT WAS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. SHE KEPT TRYING TO GET ME TO DRIVE INSTEAD OF GETTING ME SOMEONE ON THE PHONE and by the time someone was on the phone that could help... he was gone. He was looking at me the entire time. I watched the light leave his eyes.

I've had pets die before... but not like this. Most was either old age or a sickness.

Don't let people tell you "oh it's just an animal"

As far as I'm concerned that was my baby.

And now he's gone.

And there was nothing I could do.

Hi, gonna use this ask to kinda address everyone because there’s been a lot of attention on my Greta Grinch Whovier post lately because of a certain TikTok account reposting it without my permission 🙂, but I’m really happy you enjoy Miss Greta and that goes for everyone else. So to kinda sum this up when I drew her two years ago, it was kind of like a little doodle I did that I just ended up finalizing her design with like a lil brief character description in order to have a cute lil Christmas post. I did not really intend to like really flesh out her character because again it was just like a fun thing one off thing that I did. Back then I did say that I might draw her annually, but obviously that didn’t happen and I still wanna say that I could draw her again and this year I did feel inspired too do that after all of this attention was back on her again, but ngl I’m kinda really bogged down this month mentally so I don’t think I’ll be able to. 

But again I wanna thank you and everyone else that like Greta, hope you to all who celebrate have a happy holiday 💕

after thinking about it for weeks at this point, i’ve decided to close itzynabi. i haven’t been motivated to do any updates or anything, and i don’t get that many likes or reblogs, which is discouraging. my two options that i was deciding between were ending it or starting from scratch, but im too lazy for that

if i had an outcome or plan for nabi going forward, i’d make a post for it but as it stands i haven’t really thought about nabi’s future. i’ll still be lurking in the kpop oc community and seeing what my fave creators are doing, but i won’t be doing anything of my own anymore
