can we know more about Mr. Home Invader? :3c is he going to be for a future game?
Omg didn't think I'd get an ask about him yet!
Yes I do plan on giving him his own stand alone game, it's all very early concept right now. Work will still be done on my main project Maladaptive Expression but with that being a projected 20 day game once day 3 is out that'll be it for the public demo and then it'll be probably another 2 years until I finish the writing, art work, and coding for the rest of it.
I realized that I wanted to have a completed game out for people to play and enjoy during the long long wait for the final version of Maladaptive and so Michaels story was born! His game which has not yet been named will hopefully be finished and public the same day that the final demo for Maladaptive comes out plus or minus a month(fingers crossed).
Michael is a mid to late 20 something trainwreck! I'm planning on him having a short 1 to 3 day game, something closer to the scale of a traditional murdersim(not the massive scale Maladaptive is). Though murder isn't the main thing on his mind, housing is. He's on a journey to find himself and has taken to breaking into peoples houses instead of finding hotels because of some personal reasons, though he can definitely afford to.
He's very touchy and friendly unless you're being a killjoy about it. The kind of guy to break into your house, incapacitate you, and then ask how to use your shower and if you have hbo because the last three people he stayed with didn't and he really wants to catch up on some shows XD
He could honestly be a fun guy to hang out with if it wasn't for the crime/mid to short term forced captivity. He views MC as his 'host', considering his stay with them to be a perfectly reasonable thing. He's got some dark secrets though and isn't above killing to continue to protect himself and his freedom.
He's a brand new oc so there's no real art done of him that isn't game related except for the main picture I posed of him a few days ago but with time I'm sure I'll doodle him in more casual settings!
