ever make a character and then their original purpose falls through so they just end up sitting on the back burner for a while? well, that’s what happened to Samir.
he started as a ship for Li. that was literally why i made him. his purpose was to fill that “maybe he’s into smart depressives?” void that is Li’s revolving door of a love life. unfortunately, he doesn’t so much think that Li is charming as he just thinks Li is an ass. thus Samir ended up in character limbo through no fault of his own. and because he is the way i made him, he doesn’t give enough of a shit to kick up a fuss about being unused.
so, here is Samir. a character who is so self-sacrificing that it borders on self-harm. for the first time, i’m using him as a designated protagonist for a first playthrough of a game; so far the role of Watcher seems pretty damn fitting for his character. also, he has a doggo. she is a good girl.
