Without a thought of anything bar outrage, Alec snatched his father’s hand and wrenched it away, shoving him so hard that he was forced into a staggered step back.
“Do not lay a hand on my son ever again.”
Robert stared at him, as if shocked for his son to take that tone with him. He falls into an immediate accusation in way of defence. “You should have taught him not to touch things that don’t belong to him.”
“If you don’t want things touched, then ask him not to touch them,” Alec said very sharply. His glare lingered a movement before turning to his son, getting to one knee in front of him and giving his head a gentle touch. “Are you okay?”
