I don’t see why not. But keep in mind the pattern and colour of the dress because you obviously don’t want to draw too much attention to yourself. So try to stay away from dresses that are too bold. Good luck :)

We were in the same class last year and used to be pretty close till he started dating another girl in our class(while I thought he was interested in me). And now they broke up but we still barely talk, more than we used to tho. After he got in a relationship with her he only talked to me if he had to. :/ We smile at each other at school but it's nowhere near the same :/
omg stop thats my situation to a T..so last year he dated one of the most popular girl in my grade and he was always in this little group we had . it was wasnt big it was my and my 2 bestfriends (nina, gina) then him and his 2 bestfriends (mike, chris) and he dated that girl and totally stopped talking to us including mike and chris and now we are starting to get out group back but its not the same.
