I LOVE the disconnect between Mallek’s whole “punk dude who acts like he doesn’t care (but he does)” and Galekh’s whole “stuffy dude who acts like he cares too much (but he doesn’t really)” and I just enjoy thinking about the little things they can bring out in each other...... mayhaps even in a moiraillegiance :)c
Anyway:
-Mallek takes Galekh longboarding. Galekh is dressed to the nines in safety equipment (and he bought Mallek matching ones), and they have this playful joke where Galekh keeps carefully placing and buckling a helmet on Mallek’s head and Mallek keeps unbuckling it and throwing it off to the side. It’s very “catch me if you can!” and Galekh learns how to longboard just by pure spite and safety concern.
-Mallek takes to reading, and Galekh is super proud to have his moirail interested in literature. Galekh is curled up in his chair reading Kafka and Mallek is sprawled out on the rug reading the anarchist’s cookbook
-Galekh has to admit that he is addicted to caffeine when Mallek’s constant coffee-drinking at his hive leads to Mallek’s constant insomnia issues (which lead to Galekh’s constant can’t sleep issues.... he is unable to just ignore texts). They learn to indulge in coffee and such.... at the appropriate times and with the appropriate enthusiasm.
-Galekh learning to code.... Galekh applying coding logic to his literary logic.... Mallek applying literary logic to his coding logic (his VPN is unhackable now).
Idk.... I think they’re cute together, as friends or otherwise!!!
