After Malleus and Idia start dating Idia keeps bringing him everywhere. He doesn't have that many friends so he just keeps inviting Malleus to places he wants to go.

There is a convention? They go together. Idia goes dressed up and Malleus also dresses up for him. Like in the lost in the book event, if there is a book fair they go together.

Idia now goes out a lot more just because Malleus is a protection layer. If he is there, nobody will dare say or do anything. He is still really anxious, but having him there makes his anxiety relax. The real problem are Malleus retainers who keep trying to follow them. Lucky for them, they have relaxed a lot so they can go on dates without others.

Idia is the kinda guy to save people on his phone as what he thinks of them. Now, he has a tiny (big) crush on different people, and all of them are added some variation of "CRUSH", "Crush I regret" "WOULD" or "GAY AWAKENING".

Imagine people finding out Idia has a crush on them because of that. And then it turns out that its not only them, but at least three other people who he has added like that. People start a betting pool on who does Idia have a crush on, and how has he added them. Some people are trying to learn really hard how Idia added them.

There are fights over it. Idia still has not noticed (thanks to Ortho who knows that is brother would be completely mortified and tries to avoid him learning that people know his crushes)

Eventually, Malleus finds out about that and with absolutely ZERO tact goes to find Idia directly to ask him about it. He is mortified and almost ran away.

Turns out Malleus is "CRUSH" but like, a real crush. Not just a 'they are so hot' kinda deal but a 'i really like you' thing. It also turns out that Malleus does like him back.

I think that Malleus would be a jealous boyfriend. He is jealous by nature, so with a partner he would be worse. I don't think that's a real problem for Idia, Malleus is not insecure and knows that Idia will NOT reciprocate someone flirting with him.

But, if he thinks that someone is looking at Idia in a way that might mean something, he will get jealous. He trusts him. Knows that he will not look at others in any romantic light. But he is still jealous. And if he kisses him for longer than usual, who can blame him?

It's also really easy to be jealous around Idia (post book 6), he doesn't have friends, and he's starting to talk with others. I think Malleus would be jealous at the start.

It will pass, probably the moment he realizes that others are not interested in Idia in the way he is; and even if they are, he's still better. Who can compare themselves to the fae prince? Idia only wants him, after all.
