Dearest Soapy, how are you doing? I understand it must be painful to not save answers. It has happened with me as well. :( Your blog is so lovely and it keeps inspiring to me to bug you a lot of questions. The romantic tropes were done pretty well in IPK and your set highlights just that :) While listening to the podcast and looking at the hilarious mems, an ask came to mind: what are your favourite one-liners/moments of mami? Ooh favorite one liners of Mami? (The following are paraphrased to how much I remember)
- “Aisan ka karat rahe bedwa pe ki bedwa hi toot gaya? Cricket khel rahe the ka?”
- “Why fear when Mami here?”
- “Hum hai one and lonely!”
- “Idhar Manorama aur udhar Panorama”
- “Aap toh shutupiya kijiye”
- “Hello hi bye bye”
- “Kauno scheme chal rahi hai ka? Badi waali ke saath choti free.”
- And when she calls Arnav and Khushi as “bride and broom”
I mean there’s no denying Mami is the absolute champ when it comes to dialogues - she’s literally epic in almost all episodes 😂 but the above were a few I remembered at the top of my head.
And I love how the most ridiculous character was the one who almost always foreshadowed everything and came to almost the right conclusion every single time?

Also, I can never forget Arnav’s face when he sees Mami dressed up as “Mona” for the staycation/stay-honeymoon the Raizadas planned.
