Could you tell us a little bit about 71? I love the mayor and resident so I'd love to know a bit of backstory on them and why you started a second town! Love your blog 💖💖💖

ahhh hello! omg you don’t know how happy and excited this ask made me! thank you!! 🍒🐸

I actually got 71 as a digital copy last winter, and aside from pwp farming and collecting materials for landscaping, I didn’t start working on it up until a few months ago!

my original plan for 71 was to be kind of like a… old zen forest town with dark colors compared to himawari, and like… idk subtle creepy vibes? ;;; but over time it developed into more and I even gave it a story~!

I don’t want to say much about the story until I release the dream address… but basically 71 is a town where you get the feeling something is not quite right! I put a lot of thought into the characters and planning and even though I’m not a good story teller, I tried giving every character (npcs and villagers included!) little backstories and personalities to fit with town~!

I want to eventually make a proper post explaining everything when I’m finished with the town! or like… character doodles with blurbs? I hope I can convey the characters and story at least… somewhat decently?? heheh! 💕
