Hello! I read the explanation/rant written by @nafanya-a and it was like something clicked in my head. I did like S3-S5 but there was this constant feeling of something off in the beginning of s3 and then in the midst of s4 - and it was pinpointed so well. They altered Finch, Reese and even Shaw to suit the introduction of Root into the main core of the group and that- that harmed the show more than it helped. (side note: 'God Mode' is my fav episode of the show, i just love it a lot)
Agreed. Show was near perfect then they decided to have a completely different show. I think the idea of a procedural (no matter how good) was considered beneath Nolan and crew. Which is crazy! POI had the highest rated Pilot of any show before it. People want procedurals. Not everything needs to be a primetime soap opera
