((hey, are you guys cool with me starting a Skype chat for the four of us?))
((I'm willing to bet you might have guessed this, but during the duration of the survival games, all of my threads will be put on hold so I can focus on hopefully keeping my two dork alive for as long as possible.
Playing two muses at once is going to be difficult for me, as I've never done something like this, so I apologize ahead of time.
And to my partners guardianofthesaplings and maniacbloodmage, I just thought I would give you a heads up that I won't be on until about four PM EST, so we may not have a lot of time to get ready for stuff.
and to everyone else? Y'all are going down.))
Rowan eyed the demon , studying him with a stoic face even though Simon made the hairs on his neck stand on end. Flicking his tail to the side, he shifted. "I'm a new acolyte of the Eastern Circle. Someone said I should go to you." [maniacbloodmage]
"Now why, exactly, would anyone do that?" Simon asked, making a show of clicking their claws together, and putting on a vague air of indifference. "We aren't the most welcoming of individuals, we're sure you understand?" They took a step closer to Rowan, furrowing their brow as though mulling something over in their head. Simon paused for a minute, staring intently into Rowan's eyes, before spinning to face the opposite direction, glancing over their shoulder once as they called back. "Well. If you're here we might as well do something with you. Follow us, then."
Whistling something obnoxiously cheerful, Simon began to walk, assuming they'd be followed. What, exactly, the circle thought Simon was going to do with the new acolyte they weren't sure. Hazing could be fun, but they sincerely doubted that had been the circle's intent in pawning the new blood off onto Simon. Showing him around, maybe? Presumably he already knew at least a little about the craft, if he was joining the circle at all, so they probably hadn't meant for them to try explaining the mechanics of blood magic. Ah well. If nothing else they could play at an initiation ritual.
