Fair Play: Day One

I have decided to write a semi-daily summary of my time spent at a rather quaint mansion. "Day one. Arrived at the mansion, crashing into the gates. Host ran out and seemed upset with me. Went inside and met fellow fair goers. Angered host, oddly enough, his anger made me feel...things. Things I haven't felt in a long time...attraction, perhaps? No matter. I have plans for this fair, and no stupidly hot guy is going to ruin that."

Alaina leaned back in the air, holding her chin as she thought about the question. “Hmm... That’s a though one. I like both daytime and nighttime the same amount,” she responded, nervously humming as she pondered how to answer the next question. “As for sleep... well, I get enough for someone taking care of a baby, I think.”

Alaina perked up and smiled. “Hi, Toy-fuh!” she eagerly greeted, “I’m good! Jack gabe me my fabowite fwowuhs! I had a bunch of them outside my woom! We awe gonna pwant them, soon!” She held up a bunch of light blue gladiolus. “See?”
