So I recently started Uni and there's a guy in my film lecture who just. Talks when he doesn't NEED to. The way he speaks is patronising, and I'm not gonna lie it's very infuriating and he's just mansplaining at this point. Like we are talking about Mise-En-Scene leave Transformers out of this????????
He may or may not be ND, but regardless it pisses everyone off.
It's been going on for 3 weeks, and I'm THIS close to cutting him off.

For reference, this was a post about how Turning Red was nearly called "My Neighbor Toronto" i then called the guy out for mansplaining, cause not only did he say the comment i screenshot, but he also said about why the letter "u" was dropped in the first place.
But i can't believe, when calling a dude out for mansplaining, i got mansplained. And the thing is, people throw that term out all the time and it pisses me off, in fact, i have had people ask for help/advice, and when i have given it and OP thanked me for my comment, someone else has responded saying i was mansplaining! So it is a term i am not a huge fan of. But when you're explaining something to someone when they clearly already know that thing, that's literally the definition of it! Then how are you gonna mansplain that mansplaining didn't happen when it clearly did!?! Also, just worthy to note, the dude who mansplained me referred to both the men by their names, yet called the woman "woman" and never addressed her by her name. So in my comment i repeatedly addressed her by her name, and just said "person" when referring to the mansplainer.
I just had some asshole pro-life guy come onto my blog and start mansplaining to me about how childbirth is a breeze that has absolutely no risk of physical or psychological harm attached, abortion is a sin, and rape only happens rarely.
If anyone agrees with this guy, you know where the unfollow button is.
Can someone please mansplain to me why I'm a "snowflake" for expecting others to respect the dignity of trans people by using their correct pronouns but evangelicals are totes normal and valid for having meltdowns every time someone says, "Happy Holidays!"?
I actually had my first encounter today with a mansplainer. I never thought I’d see the day and it actually made me laugh.
Let me start this story!!!
So, I am a history major and mainly plan to focus on the history of women. But also about the other side that is not showed in Americas history involving tribes and the lies told. Two of my favorite earth shattering truths is Abraham Lincoln and Christopher Columbus and what they actually did.
The professor wanted us to talk about Christopher Columbus and tell her what we knew about him. And I said that he was actually a bad person and who enslaved a race. Many documents show that this actually happened and it was even written in a journal kept by Michele de Cuneo who went on Columbus second voyage.
This guy says “no he didn’t”
I could not believe what he had said and was thinking “ok, I totally heard this guy wrong.” So, I say in an overly cheery voice what does he mean.
But inside of course I’m like
I get told he actually “wasn’t a bad guy,” actual words!!!! And he said, not in an informative voice, but in a condescending you don’t know what you are talking about and I do voice. Ladies, you know the voice.
“he actually isn’t that bad of a guy and did a lot of good things.”
Actual freaking words people!!!!
So I tell him that, “the man took slaves of the tribe and kidnapped a carib woman and gave to the men to rape. But he isn’t that bad of a guy? the man murdered and enslaved a race but isn’t a bad guy?” The professor even said the guy took slaves!!!!
But noooooo....
This guy goes on to tell me he wasn’t that bad of a guy because he didn’t do that as bad as the other colonist had. So, I said “so he was a bad guy? He raped, murdered, and enslaved people, Which makes him a bad guy.”
“Not really, he didn’t do it as bad as other people. There are worse people then him. You should really watch this documentary and learn about him. Before you tell people that.” And the guy left!!!!! I can’t believe this actually happened!!! But I was a bit entertained that it finally happened and felt sorry for him because he will be a high school teacher and I hope the women tear him apart with truth.
A moissanite is false diamond. It is nearly flawless and shoots rainbows in certain light. It’s less valuable than a diamond, though some prefer them because they look diamond-like and are WAY cheaper.

I was checking manbaby, I mean mansplainer’s blog and he had stolen a picture of me with my daughter to bitch about how I don’t filter out the messages online that I don’t want. Thank you tumblr for taking that serious!! It’s been removed. I just think it’s super creepy that he chose to steal one with my daughter in it when there are so many of just me, and then to waste it on bitching about something so silly. I don’t filter them out because I’m showing what kind of message we get dumbass. He doesn’t even try anymore.
