So I talked to Brenton today for the first time in almost a week, and I found out that Jamie had a very large part in the two of them getting together. She basically forced him into a relationship with her, even though deep down he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to do yet. He didn't choose her.

She just stole him from me to be a bitch.

Literally, she showed no interest in him until I told her I wanted to get back with him. And she announced them as a couple basically without even asking him. He told me he still cares about me. I FUCKING KNEW THIS WASN'T HIS FAULT. I KNEW HE WOULDN'T JUST DO THIS TO ME.

Yes, right at first it was partially his fault. But after I explained to him that I did still wanna be with him and that I was mad that he hung out with her...apparently after all that, IT WAS ALL HER.

So after acquiring this information, I actually might give him another chance if he wanted to. I just hope he isn't lying to me. I trust him for now, until he gives me a reason not to. Maybe I'm naive, but that's how I treat everyone.
