Enter The Manticore’s Den.

-Manticore’s Den began as a little project that has taken some time to be put out there, has gone through  many changes, many ideas and reinventions to be where it needed to be for the public. Originally the project was called “Arcane Arts”, while the idea was fresh, and the name simple, it felt incomplete, so I began doing a little self searching, looking at life and symbolism revolving around experiences from the very beginning of my memories, until our every day lives in the present moment. It was then, the combination of symbols, dreams, and the project began making sense.

Manticore/ Mantichoras

The Manticore, a Mythological creature of Persian Origin, the name meaning  “Man-eater”, the idea of the Manticore came about after years of experience in the Tattoo business, being a professional tattoo artist and a growing occult practitioner over the years, I’ve witnessed the effects of tattooing a person, from having no tattoos, to having a full back piece in the following years, the transformation has a magic of its own, eventually many others who end up with full body pieces, essentially there, I had seen the behavior of ink, devouring it’s canvas, transforming the person, a rite of passage in a sense, becoming in touch with those things that connects us with the wild beast we all have within, bringing it out to the surface to be seen, masking themselves into beautiful Art pieces, the healing process, shedding the old skin, the old self, taking this into a ritualistic process of occult meaning and steps behind it, gave the idea of merging the experience with the ink itself, making the tattoo experience a unique one.

Into Manticore’s Den...

Manticore’s Den, A place where Occult Practices merge with Art, through ritualistic process to provide the modern day occult practitioner with consecrated art on Canvas, Skin, and more, for their everyday life and occult practices. While Divination, setting of lights, and other spiritual services are offered at Manticore’s Den, the main focus is to provide Custom Consecrated Art Pieces, Paintings, Tattoos, and Jewelry. Being an Occultist myself over the years I wanted to offer something for the occult community, I feel its hard to come into a normal tattoo shop and getting an artist to do a very special piece for you, while the artwork is awesome and great, the connection to spiritual work is not present from the artist hand’s and equipment, this I believe has also a great impact on ink, if the Artist is knowledgeable in the Arts, certain offerings, fumigation, and petitions/Songs can be offered for the spirit the client is trying to get tattooed in their skin, this not only makes the experience unique, but also a closer way to infuse the energy of the spirit within the tattoo, this is what Manticore’s Den offers, equally done, Commissioned Watercolor Paintings are done in a similar process, sealing the energies of the spirit into the watercolors, the paper, and image itself.

Manticore’s Den took a long process, too many transformation and experiences, and is now alive and breathing, there for those who seek it’s services, for those who dare take things to the next level on their skin. Spiritual Cleansings, What they are and what they can do for you!!!

Let’s talk Spiritual cleansings, what they are, what they do, and where you can find them depending on cultural background and the blending of our everyday lives, as mundane human beings or as Spiritual practitioners.

What is a spiritual cleansing?

A spiritual cleansing is basically a way to clean our spirit and removing any attachment of negativity clinging on to us, through a process of petitions, brushing of candles, Herbs, smokes, waters, oils, etc.

The tools to perform a spiritual cleansing are a bit different depending on tradition, spiritual practice, and culture. The main job is to remove negativity from our body and spirit, which if not taken care of could lead to serious mental, emotional and even physical manifestations of ailments, sickness, and causing what’s known as “bad luck”, where things seem to go wrong at every turn you take. Everyday we walk, work, interact with people, drive or ride along in the public transportation minding our own business, we go home, take a shower and we feel good while unwinding towards the end of the day, but when was the last time you cleaned your spirit? Bad energy can be picked up at any time, you might be at work in a situation where you got a promotion you've been looking forward to, but someone else feels they deserve it more than you, or might not have the best wishes towards you,after a while things don’t seem too bright all of the sudden, and you begin to wonder if this is not for you, everything goes bad in a trickling effect at work, you don't feel like you even want to work anymore in said company or the people around you, the person against you is sending bad energy towards you which is building negativity in your life at work, wishing for things to go wrong for you, or they just simply don’t like you for whatever reason, this negativity is sent and picked up by your own spirit, I explain this in a way, as if the person against your success was to grab wet mud balls and throwing them at you, as this builds up the mud dries and becomes heavy, bad energy works similarly building the heaviness of stress, enclosing the targets ability to be sure of themselves and think clearly, restlessness settles, stress claims a spot on our lives, money situation seems tight or you might not be able to make money at all in your business, this is a physical manifestation of negativity and one of the ways I explain it so people can understand it better.

So I need a  Spiritual cleansing, can anyone do it?

Yes, people can cleanse themselves, but if you're no completely sure how to go about it, nor have a type of relationship with your own ancestors, you can look for a reputable spiritual worker who is known for doing this type of work, read reviews and do your research first, with the ever growing occult community of reputable practitioners along with Scammers who are after your money, it is always recommended to spend time researching the person you feel should help you.  I personally give my clients instructions on how to maintenance cleanse themselves after receiving a major general cleansing from me, and stress the need to be serious during this type of work, discipline is also big part of this process, as maintenance cleansings need to be done a certain amount of days and at specific times, I also advice to come back if they feel it's something they can't completely do for themselves or when another major general cleansing is needed.

Are all Spiritual Cleansings the same?

Not at all, they change upon practice, cultural roots, spiritual contact, initiated traditions, etc. Over the years things change, and some cleansings need to focus on one specific area that needs the healing, some remove bad luck, others range from, cut and clear which removes connections towards a situation or a person so the person can move on, others focus on the removal of spiritual influences which affect our decision making usually for the worst, or affect our emotional areas making us feel depressed, uneasy or with thoughts of self destruction, emotional clutter removal after a relationship has ended, some also can heal (to an extent), removal of blocks on a person's life path or success, some are for rituals of initiation into a tradition, but those are done by the people from within the tradition of initiation, and the elders of such traditions.
