I had a furby that broke in a way that made it run its mouth motors only one direction causing the mouth to open and then close very rapidly as if it was chomping and now that I think about it I hate that

old furbies were so buggy. i love them. furbies in general are undoubtedly a gift to humans from the fae realm and sometimes fairy things are just like that.

“My biggest gripe with the Let’s Go! games is that they’re Pokemon Go...”
Maybe it's your but a lot of people are gonna enjoy it, myself included, and it's nice to have something like that when you've not played first gen games and don't want to wait 2 years for a new game
Yup, it is my tea because it’s my opinion which is just as valid as your own. People are allowed to be critical of things. People don’t have to be 100% happy about everything in a franchise they love, they’re allowed to be upset/disappointed.
I’m allowed to point out I find it ridiculous that a game that is basically an extension of PoGo is going to cost more than any other Pokemon main series game. (Ah, got to love the move to a home console basically doubling game prices, which makes the franchise LESS accessible to a wider audience which is counter to what they hoped to achieve with this game.).
And I’m allowed to be tired of Kanto. I’ve been playing Pokemon since they beginning, I have had Gen I and Kanto thrust into Pokemon experience way too often in the form of:
Gen I when it first came out. I have played/owned all the original RBY games that came out in the west, as well as played Green on an emulator.
Gen II with the Kanto post game.
Gen III with FRLG, both of which I played and own.
Gen IV with Kanto postgame returning in HGSS
Gen VI with Pokemon Go which only had Kanto Pokemon for a pretty long period; mostly Kanto Pokemon getting Mega Evolutions with a major nostalgia wank in the form of Charizard and Mewtwo getting TWO Megas.
Gen VII with all Alola Forms exclusively being Kanto Pokemon and gratuitous mentions of Kanto, including the player being from there originally.
Also in the time of Gen VII the Kanto games came back in the form of the virtual console for 3DS. I own them all (since I know longer have a GBA or GBC to play the original cartridges on.) so I got another helping of Kanto there, as did plenty of other people.
So yeah, I’m a little worn out of Kanto. I know it’s the OG region, the place that started it all. But it’s also boring to have the same thing slapped into your face just with different coats of paint over a 20 year period.
I have gripes with this game because not only is it set in Kanto but ONLY the original 151 Pokemon will be available. Unlike Pokemon Go proper, Let’s Go isn’t going to have that updated according to info given on the game. Which includes cutting out all evolutions and pre-evolutions Kanto Pokemon have gained since. No added Eeveelutions. No Crobat. No Baby Pokemon (Hell Breeding is likely not even going to be a thing.). No Steelix, ect. No utterly unrelated Pokemon out of the 800+ we have now that came after. I’m allowed to find that boring and a let down.
Here’s the thing: it’s possible we might not have had to wait two years for Gen VIII. This game is inbetween being main series and a spin-off. They COULD have devoted time and resources to Gen VIII given that as it is being considered main series it means many people who work on the main series games have likely worked on it too. Instead of having them focus on Gen VIII, they’ve been focusing on this. Instead of getting the MUCH hoped for Sinnoh remake (fans have been BEGGING for it.) we get... yet another Kanto remake. So yeah, there’s a reason people aren’t happy about this game.
There are things I like about it, but my post was a tiny post about one issue I have with it. A perfect valid issue to have. And I’m just kind of TIRED of folks acting like no one can say anything negative ever about Pokemon and decisions the Pokemon Co. make. You can dislike things a franchise you love creates, it doesn’t make you a bad fan or whatever else. People are also allowed to express opinions you might not personally like. It doesn’t mean they’re ‘attacking’ the game or people who are going to enjoy it or who are otherwise excited about it, they’re just y’know expressing the lack of excitement. Which they’re allowed to do. Especially on a platform made for blogging.

I forgot what that was and thought you were pregnant for a sec

*crosses self against evil* heaven forbid
Yeah I would put 1 1 1 1 1 1 etc for all the numbers and got them all. Idk why people didn't realize everyone only getting the 10 was cuz of just a single character being considered spam
More infos~
Well I was curious cuz they have hurt themselves so much I'm sure they need fixed up every now and then haha
yeah! it looks painful!
hopefully we can assume they’re not putting themself at actual risk/know how to break their falls and stuff like that
You know how people hate good textures? Like they might like the taste but the texture makes them gag? I have that problem with lipstick. Not the videos mind you, but just using it. The feel of it on my lips, it being thick and pasty and visible, and the smell and accidental taste too... It makes me actually go into panic. Freaks me out so badly. I can stand chapstick, but lipstick has never touched my body since I was 5. I even hate seeing it on paper coffee cups. #funfact
Y’know, I feel the same way to a lesser extent, sometimes wearing lipstick can feel like....Like your lips are being restricted or something?? Or like they’re wearing a sweater?? Idk how else to explain it lol, but whenever I wear it I almost feel like I can’t talk the same way I normally would bc I’m so preoccupied with keeping it looking perfect and not wearing off or anything lol (And forget eating or drinking! ^^;; )
At the same time though, it makes it really cool to see videos of lipsticks that don’t transfer! Like in makeup videos when the person puts the lipstick on, and then they kiss their hand or a napkin or something and it’s totally CLEAN, like...how....lol
Do you buy them all as singles or do you buy booster packs?
i almost exclusively buy booster packs because not knowing what you’re going to get is most of the fun, imo! but every once in a while i do buy singles. especially of older cards that i can’t get in current booster packs.
