The Heavenly Bloom Tarot by Noa Ikeda is finally coming into stock at stores after some months of delay! If you want to buy a mass market deck, this is a great one to consider.
It’s fully illustrated for all 78 cards and makes it kind of like personified nature. The cards are glossy with blush pink metallic edges and the cards are extra tall. The imagery of the deck is pretty good and would be decent for a beginner.
Also received the Anime Tarot from Maosishu and Natasha Yglesias. This deck is really cute and it’s got similar quality to other Simon and Schuster decks. Standard tarot size with thicker uncoated cardstock, metallic silver ink on the cards backs and box (not foil). It’s a full deck but only pips for the minor arcana, so it’s not so good for beginners. The book for this deck, however, is a little heftier and has more in depth meanings, as well as the correlation to the card illustration to a character and anime its archetype appears in.
