Enjoy the chewy goodness of Maple Pecan Cookies, which combine the rich flavor of maple syrup with the nutty crunch of pecans. These cookies are the ideal way to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/3 cup granulated sugar. 1/3 cup pure maple syrup. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup chopped pecans.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until well combined. Gradually add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans, distributing them evenly throughout the dough. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for spreading. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, the cookies are ready to enjoy!
