The sun begins to set on our little sugar shack here at @fernwoodhills Another day complete, but the night shift is just getting going! Another 350 gallons to boil off by morning to make way for today's sap. Still another week at least of good syrup making weather ahead! Terry Campbell of Mapleland Farms is a third-generation maple producer along with his brother, David. Their family established a farm on the land in Salem, NY in the mid-1800s.
