So was anyone gonna tell me Mar's family name is the same as one of the main characters of Dracula or was I supposed to find out from a Muppet Dracula Fancast myself

Mar: To celebrate Mother's Day, I'm going to be doing everything my mom doesn't want me to.

Epel: And that is...?

Mar: Kissing mermen, mostly.

Toland's face twitched, barely holding back a laugh. "Well, I guess..." His facade cracked, and he doubled over, gripping his sides as he howled with laughter. "April fool's!" He cried, falling onto his back as he shook violently, laughing so hard his face went beet red, tears streaking down his face. "Ah fuck..." He wheezed, the laughter eventually dying away as he took in several deep breaths.

The violin music cuts short with a screech as Mar lets out a defeated whine.

"Damnit, Toland! You can't do that to me, I was really fuckin' scared there!"

Her face goes red with embarrassment and she turns away from Toland, pouting.

"Some best friend you are-" She mumbles, but there's a hint of laughter behind her frustration.

Toland runs up to you, then skids to stop, doubling over to catch his breath. "Mar..." He straightens up. "Jade wanted me to come find you. He said he's got something to tell you, but he didn't want to come get you himself because he was..." Toland squints at his hand. "Making presentations?" He shook his head. "Either way, he's got something to tell you." He fidgets with his gloves, tugging them on tighter before he runs a hand through his hair.

After a moment of fidgeting nervously, he begins to crack. "Gah, I really shouldn't tell you, but... Rrrgh..." After a moment of nervous pacing, Toland blurts out, "JADE'S PREGNANT!" Immediately, Toland's face goes pale and he claps his hands over his mouth. "Shit..."

Mar freezes, the color draining from her face.

"H-He's what?!"

Cold sweat pricks at the back of her neck, panic and confusion rising to replace the missing warmth from her suddenly clammy hands.

"That can't be right-- D-Do merfolk work like that???"

A high pitched, anxious violin melody floats off Mar's body, growing louder and more insistent with every passing moment.

"This shouldn't be possible, we've been using contra potions-- A-And I'm not even a guy! What the fuck is going on?!"
