This is a thrill ride.

We open with a sniper gunning down John Walker during a press conference. Steve gives chase but the sniper is himself shot by someone else. Next: Steve and Peggy Carter join Nick Fury and his buddies in the empty SHIELD HQ, but they are soon fighting for their lives.

Relentless action like this - with a smart script - is a joy to read. And it’s cool to see Steve and Nick fighting side-by-side. They are great together. Great banter.

It’s good, too, to see the ramifications of SHIELD disbanding. Plus the mystery of who is behind the attack at the SHIELD installation is never explained. Only hinted at. Fun times ahead, no doubt.
