I'm really glad to hear that trans Marco has been helping people figure out their identity. The Legend of Korra played a vital role in helping me accept I was bi, so it's great to hear SVtFoE is having a similar effect, albeit (probably) unintentional.

I wouldn’t even call it unintentional, considering, well.

They know damn well what they’re doing, and the fact that Princess Marco is just allowed to be a girl is so, so, so important.

Trans marco helping

@breastforce and all the people making submissions...i’m not good at being concise(and this is first time doing anything but lurk on this site) so a post...and a tl;dr at the end

when i first discovered the theory i had just started female hormones and was badly optimistic of possibility that the hormones would make me more binary (i’m woman 85% of time, genderless[and more dysphoric now cause body has extra secondary sex characteristics] 14%, still on hormones cause overall helpful and less dysphoric) just like i was optimistic that first puberty i would accept myself. as time went on with marco, i became more accepting that i could wear a suit on female days or skirt on genderless days, and that its ok that personality not changing based off identity. accepted my gender as it is(still not sure what term fits me or how to find out, genderfluid, demigirl, transfeminine...can you be that if slightly more stereotypically masculine then feminine) and that my body dysphoria will never vanish, and infact some days will be worse, but overall less dysphoric is the goal. i told my provider and he admitted that had some patients doing nonbinary transition (never heard of before) and some genderfluid that transition from mtf or ftm for overall help like me. i told the feelings to a friend of mine @nate0u0 (first time telling anyone im genderfluid) who was questioning(i helped her figure out trans and that shes lady or more on that side like me) themselves and in time she helped me decide to choose a gender neutral name for genderless days. and then i slowly told people on discord, with surprisingly more then i thought being accepting (but some not) and decided to switch to that name on genderless days so that in calls or text they could more easily be accepting and i didnt have to tell each one individually that already knew. of that just yesterday i told(by discord) a friend i had moved in with after family...not so accepting of on hormones, that genderfluid and what name went by (before hand he only knew female name) and he admitted  it sounded complicated but he was accepting and thought the genderless name i chose was neat :3 also in that time, the first person i told(i was not 100% binary) became my girlfriend who i deeply love<3 (first person ever asked out, guys and girls before asked me out instead, i can assume me being more accepting of myself gave me the courage to do so) and i got her into the show a big part cause of the transmarco theory

also, mostly before this show i was surrounded by anit-sjw (and very bigoted) circles, forums and youtubes and town and family and was sorta offput by a lot of stuff, and had lots of internalized phobia. trans marco helped against that and ive been slowly widening my circle and being open to things tl;dr trans marco helped me accept myself more, learn more terms and things about transness, try new things, be more open to others about who i am, be more content and fulfilled, give me courage to get a lovely girlfriend, and get her into the show as well. I have long way to go, but this helped push me in right directions p.s. any advice from anyone how to figure out which fits better (genderfluid/demigirl/transfeminine)...i’m not good at figuring out for myself

i discovered the trans marco theory only like, a week ago... but i had been in. a very Bad Place™ mentally/emotionally (and i guess i still am?), particularly with my being trans, and.... i dunno how to put it, exactly, but....

whenever i see trans characters in media (very, very rarely, of course), they’re almost always either a joke, or already transitioning and/or out of the closet. and the latter one is still great!!! we need all the positive representation we can get and there can never be enough out trans characters in media.

but god, almost NEVER do i see characters that are still in “egg mode”, or haven’t come to terms with it yet, and still aren’t out and/or transitioning. i never see character that are... like me,,,

and the way the svtfoe show writers have clearly put a lot of thought into how they’re going about this, the way they portray and explain dysphoria as best they can despite dealing with disney’s censors, the way princess marco is regarded in universe, ect, ect....

....it resonates with me, immensely. and even though i’m still   in a very bad place with myself, the trans marco theory has made me feel a little bit lighter.i’m incredibly grateful for it. thank you

I told you this a while back but to confitm, since we're all coming clean, trans marco did in fact help a child I sit for realize they're a trans girl and her foster mom excitedly took her dress shopping after I helped her come out

Dont forget my 14 y/o trans little sister! She have princess marco artwork all over her school books and her personal diary. Marco is the character she relate to the most and make her feel like a normal human being with normal feelings! So add her to the list of people that marco helped !! ;) also it helped her with her social life since her friends now understand her feeling through princess marco and that its normal for someone born male to be comfortable and wanting to be a woman!

Im pretty sure I'm a cis girl, but before trans marco i was... I was transphobic. Although I would never admit it, I didnt understand why you would ever decide to be trans, you know? But Marco has kinda made me get it. And now i've started to question my own gender, as some things that she does fit into what I feel. Im honestly just so exited for trans marco to maybe be canon some day, so that more people can have experiences like all of us.

I get you. Like when I was a kid, I had a lot of internalized transphobia that having something like Marco would have really helped with.

my friend originally pointed me to your blog because i was questioning my gender. i came along some pretty relatable stuff, until I saw the trans Marco theory! i watched svtfoe (and still do) and she has definitely helped me come out as a trans girl! literally love her and you
