no bc not to be emo but i remember watching the 2021? world juniors in the bubble and watching every team austria game because that's our boy!!!! and being soo proud even though they lost every game like 9-0 and getting SO excited for the season to come and THEN i remember getting the news that he was so sick he could have died and that his season was over and he didn't know when or even if he'd ever get back on the ice and just. watching such a young player go through that and hoping. always hoping. AND THEN WHEN HE FINALLY GOT HERE!!! watching him play in the preseason and in a few games and just being SO excited & happy for him even when he got sent down to iowa bc he did it!!! he's playing again! AND NOW THIS. like he made it. he's the highest scoring rookie in the nhl right now. and i could cry for six billion years about it i think
