       And just like every Tuesday afternoon, Cam found herself at her scheduled personal training session at Retrograde, today’s being boxing, her absolute favorite class. She certainly had no qualms about rocking up when it was boxing. She often found herself so consumed in her training, she barely noticed what was going on around her.. so much so, she’d faltered to notice everyone looking over at the new owner of Retrograde. The late owner’s passing genuinely affected her more than she’d thought, for he’d been like something of an uncle to her for many years.. watching over her and genuinely being a better parent than either one of her own had ever managed to be. She’d wondered who he’d left the gym to, who would take over the one place that gave her solace. And just as she finished up her last combination, completely out of breath at this point, she turns to find none other than Marcus Turner behind the desk, chatting to one of the employees. And instantly, she knew. He’d left the place to his nephew.         “—You’ve got to be fucking kidding me..”
