Can we have real talk about a moment in ADOW though?
The part in episode 1 with Marcus’ failed siring and when Matthew and him come back to the lab.
First of all, sibling rivalry much between Marcus and Miriam - she’s got irritated older sister all over.
BUT MATTHEW.....
My poor Rhiannon is like “Darling, he’s our son. He’s going to make mistakes.” And comign up with all the normal motherly excuses because Marcus is BABY.
But Matthew’s irritation is so fucking PALPABLE in the way he speaks to Miriam and won’t even look at Marcus to give him the time of day. Then he just walks off - probably to get himself a glass of wine though I’d recommend straight up whiskey at this point.
But MATTHEW’S IRRITATION AT HIS SON! IT JUST.....
HOW CAN HE NOT SEE HIMSELF AS DAD?!?!?! HIS DAD ENERGY IS SO HIGH IT’S NOT EVEN FUNNY!
