02022022 (W) - Trying to jump back to work
I woke up later than I'd like (by choice as I did want to spend it in bed). I am waiting on feedback from our research coordinator and our mentor (separate individuals). Waiting plus my tonsilitis treatment is absolute torment. My relationship with food and how it allows me to feel like I have control over the uncontrollable has not been challenged more.
I would like to believe I'm getting there. I had to re-arrange my tasks just so I can feel better.
Aesthetically, I have decided that I like the whole vintage camera look at the moment. Also, candles. I am not a major fan as I still prefer the semi-astringent herbal smell that comes from incense and not the thick cloying scent that comes with all wax burnables, this one was a gift. Seeing as I have given away other gifts to my mother (it is hard for me to keep gifts when it's not something I need), I had to keep at least one of the gifts - over the large makeup bag the candle was more manageable (because I want to use the glass bottle as a pen holder when it's fully burned).
For candle-people, what happens when the candle burns? I mean I know that the wax melts and all but what happens after? Does the wax part like the sea (in the Abrahamic sense) and it stays there or does it just go poof (in the Fairly Odd Parents sense)?
, I did that thing that MSC thing about tracking your energy (tho I am also tracking my focus - it's the bar). Would recommend for bujo people.
