"Writing digital notes is faster and makes you more productive", sure whatever, but can you make medievalesque marginalia to point at important stuff?

Hiding from my life in the library, doing writing practise & solving tasks for linguistics!📚
feeling like an academic victim at this point of the semester :’))
10/June/2026
I recently used up all the pages in my plotter notepad, and started using a new one! The novel I’m reading is about to reach the climax, too :)
Today was a lovely day.
I ticked every item off my to-do list:
Probability lecture (1h)
Property law readings (2h15m)
Multivariable calculus lecture (2h)
Property law tutorial (1h)
I was blessed to go on a cruisy 5km with an amazing woman this morning. She's such an amazing role model to me, and I'm sure she doesn't even realise it. It really started my day on the right foot.
I'm very grateful to be in the world today.
By popular demand, I present you all with an August Days of Productivity challenge. As always, it is modelled after @learnelle's April challenge. I also organised one in June.
The guidelines are as follows:
Compile your August goals into one post and mark each item as desired upon completion. You may be as vague or detailed as you wish. It only needs to serve yourself.
Tag all relevant posts with #august days of productivity, that way we can more easily support each other and make this feel like a community challenge.
Starting 1st August, do one thing every day, however small, to bring yourself closer to your goals.
Regular updates are encouraged, whether they be daily, weekly, or just every so often, but what really matters is accomplishing the things we set out to do.
Enjoy the journey: you cannot "fail" as long as you are having fun!
On 31st August, we can reflect on the past month and congratulate ourselves for our dedication.
Additionally, I challenge each and every participant to actively contribute towards the community feeling by interacting with each other, beyond just leaving a like. Reblog, comment, congratulate, encourage. We are all busy and tired and stressed, and a kind word goes such a long way!
Reblog to participate.
3.9.2026: These past few weeks have just been flying by. It feels like I'm on autopilot or in a trance. I honestly don't know what I do all day because it feels like I just woke up, but it's already evening.
