Wait panicking because how am I supposed to apply to uni if the majority of my prereqs are in semester 2 and applications end like 2 months before that even starts??? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET A GOOD AVERAGE WHEN IM WORKING WITH ONLY 3 GRADE 12 COURSES IN SEMESTER 1 AND ALL MY OTHER GRADE 12 COURSES SUCK ASS

(aside from Contemp. Indig. I did good in that one but my current average across my grade 12 courses is a 87 and I NEED a 92 minimum to beat the admission average oh god oh goddd I will puke like. Like what do I do. Do I take an extra online course??? Do I need to apply late??? ‘Cause my grade 11 prereq scores are NOT reflective of what I can do I literally missed like half of second semester from being ill)

🗂️ today’s focus:

finish this draft of chapter 1!!!

🕰️ what i did:

so i've split it down into 4 sections, and i finished 1 yesterday, so i've got the other three to write today. we're at about 2,000 words as of 10:00 it's nearly 11:00 and i've got about 2,500 words extra. this is a minor problem as i'd allowed about 4,500 words per chapter in my plan and we are already about to hit that target, and i still have one more section to go. so. i have finished the draft and sent it to my supervisor!! it's currently 5400-ish words, which is quite a few more than intended, but we will see what he says.

📌 notes/thoughts:

i'm in uni today, and it is so much easier to focus here than at home. at the suggestion of my housemate (apparently because i "type forcefully") i am listening to Leroy Anderson's The Typewriter. a piece of music that has a typewriter as an instrument.

🌙 tomorrow:

rest! i'm also at work in the afternoon, but i'll take the morning off.

School prep has begun.

I hope I have not bitten off more than I can chew with the internship, Substack, my project, full time school, content creation and TRYING TO STILL find a job. Ontop of a social life. It is so... odd to me seeing everyone do everything seemingly effortlessly. Then I have to remind myself its social media and just a mask, not the real thing.

My project is going along well, mostly been spending time outside these days but I am outlining these next few chapters because I always get stuck here.
