Just sent that email to try and get switched to doing the Half instead of the Full.
Part of me feels like a failure.
Other part feels like this is a win for me to FINALLY recognize I can't do it all, all the time and trying to avoid injury,

Hi Chelsea! Love your blog :) I'd like to know a bit more about your marathon prep, running wise but also food wise. Also, do you have any specific goals? Thank you and I wish you the best!! :D
Well I got my running plan from runnersworld.com using their smart coach. I’ve used their plan for every race I’ve ran since I got into running! It’s super helpful and useful =D
As far as food wise I’m not being very strict. I’m being healthy conscious, but I’m still allowing my body a lot of carbs because I need them. It’s a lot different than comp prep diet that’s for sure haha. I’m not trying to stay extra lean right now simply because I need the fat to burn as fuel for those last few miles once my glycogen stores hit bottom during the long runs.
As far as specific goals not really. I just want to cross that finish line. Due to my hip injury the longest distance I’ve been capable of completing is 14 miles and I’m like 3 weeks away. My plan is that if hip problems start to occur I’ll just start doing 5min run - 1min walk pace tempos. I’m completely fine with walking across the finish line if I have to. With my mindset though I know I’m going to push myself as long and hard as I can though which is my only goal <3!
Thanks love !

Best Body Bootcamp recap
Last week was the final week of BBB. First, last week's recap:
5/7 working out- walking & cycling miles:
+ 2 strength days.
7/7 drinking full pitcher of water
6/7 taking multivitamin
Now for my fitness test progress:
I had pretty big improvement jumps between the start and the halfway point because then I was mostly following the workouts Tina gave us. For the last 2 sessions (4 weeks), I was mostly doing my own thing because I was still trying to avoid high-impact (until today!!!). I still improved in all 4 tests, so that's great!
I'm really happy that I was able to get faster on the bike because that means that I hopefully haven't lost too much cardiovascular fitness in the 10 weeks I took off of running.
Thanks to Marie for doing the giveaway so that I could be a part of this challenge. It really kept me motivated to work out at least a little bit in this break from running.
