This week we talked about identity in a community. I did not feel community because I do not know other people on Tumblr in reality community. I use Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The followers and friends are already friends in a real world. I post text and pictures to tell it to friends. The community on these application is already existed in my real life. In this application, I do not know anyone. It was difficult for me to find a community. To make some connection with others, I followed some users. Linda and Emma were already followed some users whose posts are related with their theme. Actually I want to follow a user who posts only about Japanese sweets but I could not find it.
As I wanted to find a user whose posts fit my theme, people would like to follow the user whose posts are fit to their taste. Users who have many followers, post specific theme. In the other hands, we post reblog with different three theme. I thought it makes difficult to find our followers. When I use twitter and other applications, I post anything I would like to share about things are going on around me. So my post is almost connect to my real life. As Linda said in the class, I also cannot image the person behind the blog which is the most popular blogs on Tumblr and have a clear topic.
http://dominatrixy100.tumblr.com/ this page is really interesting for us. On this page, the posts is not just random. She(He) posts Japanese sweets, erotic, animal and landscape. Very mixed page. She might just bored and changed the theme because her posts are not random. The contents of the posts changed gradually. But It is interesting to check such blog to think about their identities on Tumblr.
