Okay, but Henna is low-key the scariest barbie villain. She sold out her own people to be slaughtered and eaten by monsters so that she could have power.

She also vowed to return but never appeared in the sequel. I smell a third movie where she comes back as a powerful supervillain to destroy multiple fairy kingdoms, and Mariposa and Catania team up to stop her.

And obviously it ends with them getting married cos, I mean, look at them.

I'm torn between A Mermaid Tale 2 and Mariposa and the Fairy Princess. Both were better than the originals imo, and contain characters & ships I adore.

For spoopy prompts: we’re both ancient immortal beings but we look like 15 and that’s forcing us to stay on top of memes if we want to blend in and it’s simultaneously the best and the worst thing of our lives; Mariposa and Catania

OMG, this is so cute to imagine. Here's how it'd go.

At first they're both like "screw this, it's way too hard, let's just lock ourselves in our castle with our books." But then they start to realize it's becoming hard to understand new books because of developing language and culture and they're like, shit, I guess we gotta stay on top of it. So that we can read books, that's it, that's the whole reason.

Mariposa is more into it than Catania and more likely to go out and socialize with humans to find out how things are going in the modern world; she sometimes enjoys it despite being very awkward and people generally thinking she's weird. She reports back to Catania who hangs on to every word, takes notes, and compiles her findings into a book.

During the internet age Mariposa manages to befriend a group of weirdos who think she and her recluse wife are just Very Eccentric

She loves memes and sends them to the group chat, but unfortunately she's usually about 5 years behind the times leading to friendly eye rolls from everyone but Catania

This combined with the fact that she takes care of her friends has lead them to joke that she's not just the mom friend, but the grandma friend
