The Jet Report Dec 13 Rewind: As hard as it is to move on from the loss of popular team leader Jim Leonhard, the Jets had no choice. On Tuesday Gang Green signed 6'2 208 lb S Gerald Alexander. The former 2007 second round pick was cut by Miami last month. He has totaled 159 tackles and four interceptions in stints with the Lions, Jags, and Fish. Alexander provides depth and perhaps perspective on the Dolphns defense which could come in handy on New Years day. When the Jets play their finale for what could mean a postseason berth. The Jets also signed 6'0 200 lb defensive back Mark Legree to the practice squad. Legree was signed as a free agent this past summer by Seattle and has yet to play an NFL game.
