I really wish Netflix had stayed true to the book Virgin River so I could reblog quaint/rustic mountain town gifs, with tiny, blonde Hurricane Mel getting her BMW stuck in the mud and stomping around in her Frye boots and 7 for All Mankind Jeans while Hot-Hunting-and-Fishing, log-cabin-and-all-man-Marine-veteran Jack just smirks, remains undramatic, casually takes Surprise Doorstep Baby into his arms and asks Preacher to whip everyone up the best coffee and meal you’ve ever had in your life. 

I just...I promise they’re not insane in the book.

Oh, why must you do this to me?...Just kidding.

What can I say about Mr. Gillies? Well, he’s pretty and he’s a great actor. I’ve had obsessions over other actors, like Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch, for example. However, I have never had one to last as long as the one I have for Daniel Gillies (though, for me, the obsession is more about the characters than the actor: i.e Elijah Mikaelson & Joel Goran & any other character that man plays). Mr. Gillies just has that extra special charisma and grace in his acting that just captivates.

Did I mention he’s pretty? Look at that smile. LOOK AT IT!!!
