Relatives of the American teacher shot during last week's French train attack say they're not the least bit surprised by his heroism.
VCU alumnus Mark Moogalian (B.S.'88/H&S) is among the heroes who courageously disarmed a gunman on a train in France last week.
The French president praised Mark for his "courage" in intervening during the attack. Mark is currently recovering in a french hospital; we wish him a speedy recovery.
