i’ll just say: this is not news, we knew this was happening. no hate towards mark, but as soon as he tried making private drama public with half-baked diss tracks targeted at adam, we knew this was a decision that had already been made.

again, absolutely no hate. i hope mark’s sobriety journey continues and i hope he stays safe and happy. i hope he learns to move past this drama, and i hope his solo music gets better (sorry).

i am excited for this new chapter of tbs, i’m especially excited for what (hopefully) mitch brings to the band, and maybe even nathan being solidified as a member? there are many things to look forward to!

i will miss this lineup always, because it genuinely has been one of their best, and i will miss them all being friends, but it’s not the end of the world: john, adam, and shaun know how to make the correct decisions for the band, and i know this will all work out. i have faith in the band, and nothing’s gonna take that away

#this does suck deeply but it’s also not a surprise. i sympathize with both people who are deeply saddened by this and people who don’t care #being in a band and making private drama public automatically kind of gets on my Ewww side so #taking back sunday #not hate #mark oconnell
