Woeridge Update 01/12/2025

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope you folks are doing as well as you can during these times. It's not easy, but don't stop fighting and standing up for yourselves and those who are unable to stand up for themselves.

As I mentioned in my last update, I've been rethinking Woeridge and how I want to go about the comic going forward. Especially considering that I find it a bit difficult to actually want to draw sometimes. Given that not only am I working part-time, but also because of my smorgasbord of medical issues (two of them ended up being untreatable) and also being in school, it's just constant busy.

I still want to continue Woeridge, but I've been leaning more toward the idea of turning it into more of a "written-novel-with-pictures-sprinkled-in-between" format rather than a comic format. I'd keep everything else up, like the lore pages and whatnot, but I'd be posting written chapters with a couple of pictures instead.

I absolutely did not get this idea from something I read on AO3 nope nope not at all not at all besties.

I'll probably wait until the end of the month before updating anything if I do end up going that route. But whether it's a new update video regarding a new page or a video explaining XYZ on the comic turning into a chapter book format, there WILL be a update regarding Woeridge by January 31st.

Don't really have much else to say besides that. Take care of yourselves, remember to eat, hydrate, breathe, and do whatever other self-care activities you enjoy that help you.

Unrelated but I've have started another run of Pokemon Emerald and I just gotta say I fucking love Breloom. I have also adopted a dangerously intense addiction to playing SMT IV and have put in like 26 hours already. It's been like 3-4 days.

Merry chrismin from the three of us!!!

Sorry I haven't updated the comic in ages or put out a new update video, I've been struggling to draw and find the time to really get back into things.

I'm going to take the rest of this week to really mull over of how I want to go about the comic going forward, then hopefully come out with an update around the end of next week.

But for now? I'ma enjoy the holidays and go get my discount candy canes. I hope that in the face of this hellscape you folks have a lovely holiday season, or- in the case that you're feeling down- find a safe space where you feel welcomed and loved and heard so that you can feel well this winter.
