Tattoo #2 is for the kids who inspired me to be a Drama therapist all those years ago. The Smith Family taught me to find joy in sorry and light when all seemed dark. Without them, I wouldn’t be getting this Masters degree and I wouldn’t have had the courage to move all the way out to Kansas to get it. So, Braden, Riley, and Keaton, when I march across that stage and get that degree this May, I know you’re there with me.
