The time she actually came to like Denis.

The Loser's went to explore the Neilbolt [Or wtv] house and the twins took Paige along because she had some strange things happen and doubted what they were trying to tell her.

After Pennywise scared the Loser's and they had to take Eddie to get his arm fixed, Marline, Denis and Paige did not notice the commotion, so they all continued exploring.

Paige was obviously annoyed and stomped off somewhere, but she heard a door slam behind her, so she called out for the others. When No-one replied she assumed they were trying to pull a prank on her. So, she just kept going.

That was until she heard someone whisper, it was creepy and made her on edge. She felt their nails run up her arm and then dig into her skin, you could see the pricks of blood, and she stared screaming and trying to wrench her arm free.

When she turned around, she could see the form of Pennywise tilt their head and giggle in a mocking way, Like Eddie she scrambled back, looking for somewhere to go.

Then she saw a flicker of flashlight as someone entered the room, from a glance she could see Denis, but she continued to scream as Pennywise moved forward, not even registering what the clown was saying.

Denis swung a stray scrap of metal at the clown's head, when it went through the eye, Paige got up and ran to where the latter was. She honestly, - Would never admit it - thought it was kind of cool of him to help her.

"Denis!"

Marline yelled, her voice shaking as she ran up to her brother, tears filling her eyes as her body shook, stopping in front of him.

"Denis, he's dead! My cat's dead!"

The words tumbled from her lips, wiping her eyes as she continued.

"I was walking out of school when I passed that Bowser gang, the black haired one that terrorizes people asked me how my cat was before saying it was unfortunate that he didn't 'know' it was my cat!"

Marline was bored, she just swung on the small tire swing that was behind the Curatorium, as she watched the building, swinging her legs subconciously.

Everyone, of course had to have been busy or had other plans. Her uncle doing touring, Stuart was running shop and Winnie was out with her own friends.

Then Denis went to hang out with Alec, which was never good. She just hoped he was safe. She sighed to herself as her gaze flicked to the path, a figure walking down it.

Marline narrowed her eyes to see who it was. Griffin Keene, he was also friends with Eden but his sister was Greta, not that Marline minded that. You never judge a book by it's cover.

She shut the back door, before hopping down the steps as she made her way towards the front. Humming to herself quietly, as she walked.

Marline found her bike and went to pick it up, that was before someone stepped on the handles and she straightened up to look at them.

"Excuse me, Do you mind?"

She tried to keep her voice light, confused as to why they would go out of their way to stop her from picking up her bike. If it's one of the kids that clearly show a distaste for the Cutorium of curiosity, then she couldn't really do anything about it.

When her cat ran off into the woods Marline had to follow. She went deeper and deeper, light straying through the canopy as she called for her cat.

She paused her walking as she heard someone whisper, she turned around to try and pinpoint the sound. Nothing. She kept walking, bending down to look around for the cat.

Snap of a twig, she turned her head again and she saw some of her friends - Griffin and Jasmine - She bounced up before waving and calling out to them.

All they did was give her a look of disappointment before walking off in one direction, she called out to them in confusion.

"Wait-! Wait for me!"

The same thing again , more friends and even Denis. More whispers and pointing and running away. she didn't know, she didn't understand why they were looking at her like that.

Soon she felt the tears, as she stared sobbing.
