First, Casey and Palmer raided one of the private offices. Okay, Palmer raided it. Casey was forced to stand guard and somehow not look suspicious. He pretended to pretend to text on his dead phone, waiting for the other man to finish. He was taking for-fucking-ever.

Finally, Palmer left the room, the supplies concealed in his bag. “Sorry. Let’s go.”

“I heard you huffing the markers,” Casey said bluntly as they walked.

Palmer’s eyes widened. “What?” When Casey didn't repeat himself, his face turned bright pink. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Then why the hell were you taking so long?” he interrogated. “And what were those noises?”

Palmer opened his mouth but didn’t answer. He looked at the wall, then at the floor, clearly ashamed. “I didn’t realize I was being that loud. Please don’t tell anyone...”

Casey rolled his eyes. “Relax, I don’t care.”

“…Really?”

“No. Just quit hogging the bathrooms.”

“Oh, I— I don’t do it in there,” he continued, staring down at him. “That’d be too obvious.” He glanced away, a quick pause, a second of contemplation, and then stepped closer, holding out his arm. “Um, do I smell like alcohol?”

“I’m not sniffing you, that’s weird.”

“S-Sorry.”
