I’m far too Mean Gills brained but I’m watching Martyn’s CowboySMP VODS right now and something about him pretending to be a fisherman as a cover in a server that has not only him and Scott, but also where they’re naturally opposed, is really getting to me. Scotts just made a joke about getting Double Life flashbacks and Gem, ever curious, asked what happened during Double Life and Pearl knows the other three are about to rip into her completely. There goes hiding the extent of her insanity from her new boo.
She's... Surprised when Cleo and Scott laugh (and even Martyn snorts.) The explanation from Scott is a light-hearted, "We were all so toxic." They don't just rip into her but... Also each other. And themselves.
And Gem is giggling and nudges Pearl's shoulder with a smile.

I have 15 other Hermits to design for the Hermitcraft Hollow Knight AU. And yet my brain had a little tingle and I dropped everything at the thought of Martyn as a leaf bug in this AU.
