The lights had crackled out around them. The electrical crackle and hum that had accompanied it made Peter think it was absolutely not accidental. They'd had the power pulled, and right now, there was no way for him to know if it was just the building they were in, or the whole block. They were too far from any window... "Not a great sign." he admitted, wryly, turning to squint as his eyes adjusted to the lower light. His souped-up senses would catch up in a moment. He wasn't like a cat or anything, but his night vision was working way better since the bite. "What's the plan?"

Silence settles between them as the younger Widow finishes talking and it takes Natasha a moment to realize she’s supposed to say something. “I don’t get it.” Her head shaking as she looks Yelena over once more almost certain she missed a sentence somewhere. Her attention might have been pulled to figuring out what she was ordering from takeout. “What’s the punchline?”

He had learned little bits here and there from his own experiences, but he knew he could discover important details for the impending confrontation. “So.. you knew the Lizard guy?      A sigh of relief escaped MJ’s lips as she spotted Peter, her Peter. Not the one that she’d thrown both of her shoes and her cellphone ( that didn’t even work in this universe apparently ) at. ❝ Peter-. Uh. ❞ Dark eyes widened as three heads turned to her. ❝ Right, sorry. Not. . . You two. ❞ Everything was confusing enough as is, but that was going to take some getting used to as well. MJ made her way over to the tallest of the trio, instantly wrapping her arms around him once she was close enough. ❝ Hi, you have no idea how glad I am to see you. ❞
