LAST WARNING 🛑

What absolutely floored me is how they tied in the audiences reception of Andrew Garfield's spiderman into No Way Home. It's no secret the Amazing Spiderman and Andrew weren't perceived well by the masses. And they threw that into the story! Andrew's Peter feels "lame" (his words) compared to the other 2. He didn't accomplish as many amazing things or have cool enough villains compared to the other 2. You can read in his interactions with the other 2 how much he craves love and approval. And it works storywise because Andrew's Peter carries much more guilt, sadness and bitterness in comparison to Tobey's Peter. It makes me wonder how many of those emotions the cast and crew who worked on the Amazing Spiderman franchise feel those same emotions. Particularly Andrew who was so excited to play Spiderman and then have the masses slam him as not good enough. I wonder if Andrew felt nervous or hesitant to put on the suit again.

And then Tobey's Peter acted as the fangirls of tumblr by telling him that he's Amazing (I see what you did there Marvel) and it removes some of that negative stigma away from Andrew's spiderman having that validation. And then Andrew obliterates more stigma by KILLING his performance. You see with better writing, direction and just better everything that he is an AMAZING SPIDERMAN. He is the best trained actor of the 3 and it shines through, particularly in his monologue about Gwen. But not just that, he elevates Tom and Tobey's performances.

I hope Andrew Garfield sees videos of people screaming when he comes onscreen. My entire theater clapped and cheered. People lost it when he saved MJ and I started crying watching him cry. One guy literally shot up to his feet and screamed "yeah." I hope after this he feels more accepted in the Spiderman universe.

i just walked out of the movies ans im SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP bc it really is real, i just saw harry styles on the big screen 😭😭😭😭 this motherfucker kept this a secret for probably at least 2 years!!!! jesus fucking christ i cant with this man!!!!!

i almost pissed myself when the scene started and im sure i was the only harry fan in the theater bc no one else was dying like me but fuck them its like christmas to me!!!!! two things that i love to death combined!!!

i will never get over this or just even shut up about it
